Description
This is a simple Wind Turbine rule for use in ArcGIS Pro (2.1 or higher) and CityEngine (2017.1 or higher) on polygon shapes. The CityEngine rule creates a simple wind turbine shape for visualisation purposes and doesn’t require any external 3D assets. Connect the rule to GIS attributes and you can automatically align the turbine to a given direction. This rule is designed primarily for use in CityEngine and uses the Handles and Range annotations to allow for interactive control of sizes and orientation.
INSTALLATION:
After download unzip the Rule Package GDL_WindTurbine_v2.rpk and place in rules folder in ArcGIS CityEngine project or in an ArcGIS Pro project folder
NOTE:
Full code is included with this rule package, just unzip the rpk file with a tool like WinZip or 7Zip.
This rule is free for use in any project commercial or otherwise. This is a somewhat older rule and a new version is being worked on.
